Dr. Diane Adoma was born in Bainbridge, Georgia. She is a former councilwoman and a former mayor pro term. She is the owner of Diane Adoma Consulting LLC and past owner of Adoma & Associates DBA H&R Block. They were the first African American HRBlock franchise owner in
the southeastern United States and the first in Georgia. Dr. Adoma has spent almost two decades giving back to the community and is past president of
the Rotary Club of South DeKalb and is also Vice President of Governmental Affairs for Atlanta Black Chambers and an In-Kind investor for the ATL Airport Chamber.
She is also a youth mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Dr Adoma is also a published author and her research has recommended growth strategies to states, municipalities and to the US SBA and her research may be found in university libraries across the world, Barnes and Nobles and Amazon. She has a Phd in leadership and organizational management, an MBA with an emphasis in
eCommerce and a BBA in marketing. Dr. Adoma is in the SBA Small Business Mentor Protégé Program, and is a certified Woman Owned Small Business and a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE); she is a registered Farmer with a USDA is listed as a 2021
subcontractor to provide Market Research for NASA television programming.
Dr. Adoma is a graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development and serves on the economic development committee for the National Small Business Alliance. She is the founder of “100 Women 100 Million Dollar Project” to assist women and all genders to start businesses and build companies.
She has two children; a daughter who is a Stanford University graduate and a pediatrician and her son is a business owner. She loves cooking, exercising, reading and the opera. She is passionate about education and went from GED to PhD.
